In terms of one being better than that other, there isn’t a ‘better’ in my opinion. My approach is to find what you value more. If you seek convenience and ease of use then an electric heater would be better for you. Wi-Fi control and status are available on most models, also even with manual controls starting your sauna is simplified. Additionally, electric heaters are preferred for rentals as guests will be able to start it more easily, and there will be less maintenance involved i.e.; supplying wood, cleaning, and providing instructions.
Wood stoves feel more traditional and provide a connection to the process and ritual of a sauna. Stacking wood, starting the fire, the glow of the flam and crackling of wood, opening the stove door to add more logs. Wood stoves gives a connection and sensory experience of their own.

The cost varies based on size and finishes as there are many factors in the design and materials. Currently a 5’ x 6’ electric sauna can be as low as $11,000. A 7; x 7‘ sauna starts at about $20,000. The most accurate price for you will come after the initial conversations and design phase.

To begin, complete the form, then I will contact you to schedule a phone call to discuss initial ideas.
2. Introduction and Consultation
During this step I will learn about the details of a sauna you are looking for and recommend size, style and finishes. From a more standard model to a completely custom design there will be a lot of exchanging of ideas to reach the best fit.
3. Final Design & Estimate
After collecting details of your design I will work to provide you with drawings and a detailed list of features and deliverables.
4. Contract and Scheduling
Once you agree to the design and cost, I will send you a contract for signing so we can begin.
